Since 2005 till 2022 Chairman of the Department of Oncology and Hematology at Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Warsaw.
Board certificate specialist in internal diseases, hematology and clinical oncology.
Doctor of medical sciences, awarded on May 24, 1995.
Doctor habilitated in medical sciences in the field of internal medicine, hematology and oncology, awarded on May 22, 2002.
Full professor of medical sciences, nominated on February 17, 2015.
Awarded many times by the Rector of the Medical University of Warsaw and Minister of Health's.
Author and co-author of scientific publications that have appeared in scientific journals including, inter alia, Cytometry, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the USA, American Journal of Pathology, Leukemia Research, Bone Marrow Transplantation, British Journal of Haematology, Lancet Oncology, International Journal of Oncology, British Journal of Cancer, Cancer, Annals of Oncology, Lancet Haematology, Cancers.
Scientific editor of 7 books on oncology and hematology.
As the Principal Investigator participated in over 40 international and multi-centre clinical trials in oncology and hematology.
Full member of many scientific organizations, inter alia: Polish Society of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine (PTHiT), Polish Society of Clinical Oncology (PTOK), European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Hematology (ASH).
