Board certified medical (2011) and radiation (2019) oncologist. Full professor in medicine - 2020. The research interest of Lucjan Wyrwicz includes multidisciplinary treatment of rectal and gastric cancer, molecular biology of cancer, biostatistics and modern technologies in every-day patient care in oncology. Head of Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy of National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI), Warsaw Poland. Deputy Director for Outpatient Care of NCRI. Author and co-author of >100 research articles. Married to Anna and proud father of Maria. Addicted to self-guided travels.
