Chris VERSLYPE is professor of Medicine, vicedean for International Affairs at the K.U.Leuven (Belgium) and digestive oncologist in the University Hospital Leuven.
His research interests include hepato-biliary, pancreatic and neuroendocrine tumours, supported by grants from the Fund for Scientific research (Flanders) and the Belgian Foundation against Cancer. He is chairman of the scientific comittee of the Dutch-Belgian Neuroendocrine Tumour Society (DBNETS).
He (co)authored over 272 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals (H-index web of science 51).
